Why does my wife's car insurance company have to be so heartlessly bureaucratic. It seems that they really don't give a damn about my wife, my new born daughter and me.

My preganant wife was recently in a car accident (someone hit her head on) and my insurance company keeps harassing my dealership to release my car. However, they haven't made any efforts to give us a settlement offer or to lay out a timeline for when an offer will be delivered.

They keep threatening me with storage costs beause they wan't to move it to their own storage (I imagine so they can take their time getting us an offer while the vehicle rots in some undisclosed location).

My 30 days of rental car service has run out and I need to take my recovering wife and my newborn to their doctor visits. My wife is upset and this is causing her emotional distress. I'm so disappointed.
