Mumbles' New Ford Escape
 Mayor Menino was on TV last night showing off his new Ford Escape Hybrid. He traded his gas guzzling Ford
Expedition for the eco-car.
It appears that politician's buying green cars are "IN". Maura Hennigan also bought a Ford Escape Hybrid. Who was Eco-mayoral-candidate first is still in contention.
The sad part about this switch was that it was insincere. When asked about his old car, Mumbles whined, moaned and went on about
how he missed it and how it was a better suited car. You should have just kept it. This PR stunt may have done more harm than good.
Mayor Meninino should have said "Hey, I'm the Mayor of Boston, I need
a Ford Expedition and too bad if you don't like it". I would have had more respect for that.
