Brockton Hospital

An elderly man died after going to Brockton Hospital.

A pharmacist incorrectly filled a presciption. When the pharmacist that filled the prescription realized he had made a mistake he called the hospital but for some reason was unable to speak to someone to rectify the problem. He then forgot to follow up. The next morning the nurse administered the wrong medicine and the elderly man died. Maybe the pharmacist worked at CVS?

Brockton Hospital was also in the news when a baby was sent home with an intravenous needle still in her arm. It wasn't until the family took the bandages off that they noticed the mistake. The family is now suing.
